Tyrannical Megalomaniac
Striking tall at 6 foot 3 and painfully thin
He was the loudest Hammond organ player
At the Marquee Club back then
No one knew there was no indication
Of what was to unfold
In the approaching next 12 hours
Leaving stories untold
Tyrannical Megalomaniac
He spares nothing to play with attack
He pulls the draw bars out
to play up an octave
He draws you in closer with sounds so addictive
The fire was kept alive
with the flames of time
When he pressed the keys
There was a piercing sound
Of psychedelic chime
He was the master of all nightmares
Instilling fright
Playing haunting melodies
Reverberating into the night
Tyrannical Megalomaniac
He spares nothing to play with attack
He pulls the draw bars out
to play up an octave
He draws you in closer with sounds so addictive
At the Lyceum Ballroom in The Strand
Her witchcraft played a hand
By sabotaging Vincent’s gear
In which he could no longer hear
He hit the keys…nothing ….Dead Silence!
Forcing him to cancel the show
As tensions rose within the hall
Tearing up venue rows
Tyrannical Megalomaniac
He spares nothing to play with attack
He pulls the draw bars out
to play up an octave
He draws you in closer with sounds so addictive
Tyrannical Megalomaniac
He spares nothing to play with attack
He pulls the draw bars out
to play up an octave
He draws you in closer with a tone so seductive
